![]() ![]() Bard for example has to do it's song rotation and manage timing as well as refreshing dots with Iron Jaws, using at least 3 spells off GCD and so on. Not to mention Astrologians have to manage their cards.Įven DPS don't just have "a few" buttons. ![]() You have your heals, pet management in a Scholars case, GCDs and DPS abilities to manage. Mate if you are a healer in FF14 and you are only using "a few" abilities in Savage I'd boot you from the group. If they did the same thing with WoW, well, WoW would go from a teetering, stooped giant, to a ded giant for MMOs.Only a few? FFXIV is pretty much the same, as is Guild Wars 2 - A LOT more abilities in the game, but you can only use a few of them at any time. ESO is more like Diablo 3 then it is World of Warcraft in terms of how abilities work. You can literally only use like, 6 abilities at any time on ESO. I was re-reading through some newer wiki stuff (some of it I wrote back in the day *cough*) and there's a lot of interesting stuff in there, stuff that feels like a real book/story and not just fanfic with crappy naming conventions. TBH, D3's lore feels much more concrete, cohesive, and free of weird mismatched junk than WoW's does for the most part. Gameplay wise it's fantastic, but they really need to return to the stylization and story structure/tone of the earlier games.Īside, I really feel like all the lore they built up for 3 was an indication of moving on to something bigger in the long-term, like they did with WC3. Ontopic: There is a more likely chance WoW gets announced for console before D4 gets announced at all.I 100% definitely would never play it that way, but I would love to see an influx of any kind of new players from consoles.Īs for D4, I'm playing 3 right now since I'm burned out from WoW and I'm actually really enjoying it this time. Take a look at how FFXIV does it, You have more then enough ways to do any rotation. ![]() You wouldn't need to prune anything for WoW to work on PS4/XB1. ![]()
